*Please note, this vents crankcase pressure which is part of the oil system. This means the air coming out of the crankcase breather can contain oil vapor. Over time this will build up around the edge of the filter. If you have excess crankcase pressure we recommend installing a radium baffle plate and a PCV catch can in conjunction. Again, seeing oil on the edge of the filter is normal operation, you can wash the filter with standard dish soap and water, then blow it out every oil change to prevent excess seeping over time.
